NCSS Content Standards:
3h. Examine, interpret, and analyze physical and cultural patterns and their interactions, such as land use, settlement patterns, cultural transmission of customs and ideas, and ecosystem changes.
Based on your notes you took on the 5 Themes of Geography, you already know there are three ways people interact with the environment. The three ways are:
- Changing the environment
- Adapting to the environment
- Depending on the environment
In the discussion board below, give an example of each. Make sure you write in complete sentences. We will look at the discussion board in class and determine whether the examples given are accurate.
