The History of the Roman Empire

Roman Conquests
From the time they battled the Etruscans for control of Rome and beyond, the Romans expanded their influence through military conquests resulting in an eventual empire. Below is a link to some of the Roman conquests, read about them all and create a timeline. Make sure you look at the maps as well.

Once Augustus took the throne, the Roman Empire entered an era called Pax Romana. Pax Romana marked the height of the Roman Empire's territory, peace and prosperity. During this time, six rulers defined the era. Below is a link with information about each of the six most influential emperors of the Roman Empire. Read about each ruler and complete the activities below.
