Welcome to Mr. Galloway's Social Studies Webpage

This website will help us explore the world around us. Throughout the entire year together we will use this site to enhance our learning opportunities. This course will examine many cultures of the world, including a look at your own culture. As we progress through this year, we will learn about some of the great civilizations of the past such as Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome. In addition, we will do an in-depth study of Japan and India. Other topics that we will cover this year include the 5 Themes of Geography, the 7 Elements of Culture and the Industrial Revolution. By the end of this course, you will develop a greater appreciation for the diverse cultures of the world!
